description
For the holidays, Orphéon is available in an exclusive and precious limited edition. On the bottle, the revisited illustration comes to life in a two-dimensional case adorned with gold. The box features festive soft felt decor, hand-created by English artist Lucy Sparrow, then carefully photographed and reproduced on the packaging. Each product thus becomes a fragment of this “art object”, an invitation to rediscover our childish soul, celebrating winter wonder. A Parisian bazaar on the corner of rue Pontoise, philosophical, political, cultural meetings around important personalities such as Sartre, Camus and Vadim. This nocturnal and intellectual life of Paris in the 1960s is associated with the scents of ginger, citrus and juniper berries. An inspiring place for the three creators who tell each other about their discoveries around notes of magnolia, rose, ylang-ylang and metallic notes. Ideas then spring forth thanks to the notes of musk, patchouli and of course the mythical smell of tobacco. A breath of post-war freedom where everything is possible.

Diptyque

The brand was founded in 1961 by three singular personalities united by a strong aesthetic alchemy: Christiane Montadre-Gautrot, Yves Coueslant and Desmond Knox-Leet. Fed with a common passion for drawing, they start creating motifs for fabrics and wallpapers, and decide to open their first shop with two entrances (like a diptych) in Paris, Boulevard Saint Germain.
