Unsatisfied with the performance of the main hair products which he worked with during the editorial shootings, Kevin Murphy, a Melbourne-born multi-awarded hairdresser, decided to create in 2010 a haircare product line based on Australian natural active ingredients to strengthen the hair and ensure the holding of hairstyles.
Kevin Murphy's line is inspired by the processes and cycles found in nature. It is composed of pure essential oils, plant extracts and natural antioxidants from renewable and sustainable sources, harvested using methods that do not harm the environment or animals. The packaging on the other side, are made of recycled plastic.
