The carousel, a true icon of Diptyque's holiday collections, lights up this year under the sign of a shower of meteors, each branch of which, like a mobile, arbitrates several stars in archetypal shapes. Lines and curves create a magical and graphic play of shadows and light once the candle is lit.
In its box, the carousel is accompanied by a Berries candle. Its fragrance, combining a bouquet of delicate roses with the aromatic vivacity of blackcurrant leaves, enhances the atmosphere of your Christmas evenings.
The box features festive soft felt decor, hand-created by English artist Lucy Sparrow, then carefully photographed and reproduced on the packaging. Each product thus becomes a fragment of this “art object”, an invitation to rediscover our childish soul, celebrating winter wonder.
After lighting the candle, carefully place the previously assembled carousel above it. To remove it, wait a few minutes for it to cool completely. Avoid touching the upper part of the carousel, which is particularly hot after use. To guarantee optimal safety, it is recommended to always handle the object by its base.
The 190g candle has a burning time of approximately 50 hours.
Diptyque
The brand was founded in 1961 by three singular personalities united by a strong aesthetic alchemy: Christiane Montadre-Gautrot, Yves Coueslant and Desmond Knox-Leet. Fed with a common passion for drawing, they start creating motifs for fabrics and wallpapers, and decide to open their first shop with two entrances (like a diptych) in Paris, Boulevard Saint Germain.
