The Ernesto candle was inspired by the 1959 Cuban revolution led by Fidel Castro. Tucked away in a room of a Havana hotel where the scents of rum, smoked leather and tobacco mingle, the sound of the cannons resonate successively, giving way to an opaque smoke that can be seen from the window. For this Albâtres collection, Ernesto is presented in a luminescent white soft Spanish stone object, accompanied by its hood. Each stone is unique and shows more or less pronounced nuances. The alabaster stone comes to life thanks to the flame of the candle and brings to the room a warm light.
Founded by Claude Trudon in 1643, the Maison Trudon quickly became the Royal Wax Manufacture. In the court, the light of the Cire Trudon candles danced on the walls of Versailles, lit the French corridors and were appreciated from Louis XIV to Napoleon, in all the major churches of the country. A legacy which is shared and renewed today by the brand with immense pleasure.
