In 2016, Aurélien Guichard and his family founded an Ecocert* organic Rose Centifolia farm in the Grasse region, in the heart of France.
He is thus the only nose to own and produce his own Centifolia Rose. Hundreds of Centifolia roses are grown there, according to a family and regional tradition and know-how on an exceptional terroir, listed as an intangible cultural heritage of humanity by UNESCO in 2018.
"Growing our own Rose - says Aurélien Guichard - is a way of reconnecting with the essence of the Perfumer's profession, combining creation and mastery of the quality and production methods of the raw material.
As for the formulas, Matiere Premiere does not use any synthetic colouring agents. The colour of the perfumes is natural and can evolve without altering the quality.
