Borrowing its name from a star that returns to the light after reaching the furthest point of the star around which it revolves, Aphélie, personified, is mysterious. She is a feminine character with a trail of blackcurrant buds in chiaroscuro mixed with hints of moss that links an infinite nature to the ephemeral human situation. With its combination of green ivy and tonka bean, it tells us the story of a nature that takes back its rights.
Founded by Claude Trudon in 1643, the Maison Trudon quickly became the Royal Wax Manufacture. In the court, the light of the Cire Trudon candles danced on the walls of Versailles, lit the French corridors and were appreciated from Louis XIV to Napoleon, in all the major churches of the country. A legacy which is shared and renewed today by the brand with immense pleasure.
