Ostréa Edulis, the wild flat oyster from the Bay of Arcachon, has been revered by the Romans since antiquity for its therapeutic virtues. Since the 19th century, Cap-Ferret has been known as a "regenerating bath by nature".

Oyster farmers, including my great-grandfather, settled here. This mysterious, bewitching peninsula, born of sand and seaweed, forms a delicate balance between the power of the ocean and the purity of underground springs. It is the setting for edulis.

From generation to generation, living in wooden huts on the water's edge, my family has tamed oysters and the Bay of Arcachon, passing on to us a respect for the sea and its fruits.

As a child, I used to go out on my father's boat to pick them, already recognizing their benefits for our bodies.

My mother, a daughter of science, and my father, heir to the sea, combined their passion and knowledge to offer this environmentally-friendly cosmetics range.

Our dream became reality when we obtained an international patent. For me, edulis is a reflection of the magic of the presqu'ile, this wild and protected place that enables us to bring this purity to our products. Our cream expresses all the fragrances, sensations and pleasures of Cap Ferret. My mother and I use it every day to preserve the vitality of our faces. Today, we'd like to share it with you. Alexia, daughter of Philippe Réveleau (oyster farmer and co-founder of edulis)"
