The evocation of the dry forests of Indochina and the velvety, milky scent of sandalwood burned in temples. Yves Coueslant, one of the founders of Diptyque, recreates this scent, marked by his childhood and illustrated by Mysore sandalwood, cooled by vibrant cypress and cedar wood.
Very nice parfum. However, much more expensive as in the last year.

Diptyque
The brand was founded in 1961 by three singular personalities united by a strong aesthetic alchemy: Christiane Montadre-Gautrot, Yves Coueslant and Desmond Knox-Leet. Fed with a common passion for drawing, they start creating motifs for fabrics and wallpapers, and decide to open their first shop with two entrances (like a diptych) in Paris, Boulevard Saint Germain.
