Rise and Fall celebrates the art of perfume by reinterpreting the Kōdō ceremony, considered one of the most subtle and demanding of the three traditional Japanese arts. A true timeless parenthesis, this fragrance sublimates the art of appreciating incense and burning precious woods to reveal each nuance, from fragrant swirls to captivating scents. Like incense rising and ash falling, Rise and Fall embodies this delicate and harmonious movement.
Designed by Juliette Karageuzoglou, this perfume embodies her desire to capture a generous sensuality, enhanced by spicy and fruity nuances, while reflecting a poetic and refined approach. Rise and Fall opens with a fresh and vibrant top note of ginger, which gives way to a heart of golden immortelle, enhanced by the fruity sweetness of date. In the base, a rich accord of Peruvian balsam and incense, softened by a subtle touch of vanilla, creates a soothing and warm envelope. Each note unfolds elegantly, providing an olfactory experience that evokes both rise and fall.
The cover of the bottle illustrates the transition from summer to autumn, where the trees are adorned with flamboyant colors and the leaves, carried by the wind, gently return to the earth.
Floraïku is inspired by Japanese sophistication and follows a poetic approach, close to nature. This French house of perfume is a journey into the heart of the Japanese imaginary, namely into the haikus, short poems which attempt to translate the simplest, yet elusive life experiences. Floraïku creations are like this: short, sensual and overwhelming. Each fragrance is built around an accord inspired by a Japanese ceremony.
