At 10, for her, it was very clear, Patricia Choux would make her life, in perfume. Chemistry to perfumery, her dream took her to sign for Jo Malone, Laura Mercier or Marc Jacobs. From her meeting with Olivia Bransbourg born Attache moi 55.

What is your motto ?

"Exigency, determination" my leitmotiv is almost there as I keep saying to myself while running marathons.

How did your story with perfume begin ?

The hasard, by chance, as a kid just because the weather wasn’t nice enough to go to the beach my parents took us to Fragronard in Grasse . The discovery of a brand new world I felt immediately in love with.

What are your favorite raw materials? Why?

Patchouli for its multiple facets : humid wood, earthy, sensual, a very versatile raw material. The salicylates for their solar, floral touch and Jasmin are such  noble raw materials too.

You work with several houses existing in the Nose store including « Parfums Attache-Moi (Olivia Bransbourg) and Biehl. What is the difference between those two brands in their creative process? Is this very different from traditional perfumery?

Their approach were different but I am very proud of both of these creations. With Thorsten I had total freedom as he wanted me to work around my favorite smell one is patchouli the other one around a green mango. With Olivia, the creation process was intellectual in the sense I had to olfactively translate her vision of Manhattan, the blue sky, the light, life, perception. The main difference when you working with niche perfumery compare to traditional perfumery is the freedom you have, (il y a moins de contraintes budget, legislation) with less restrictions from the brief in general.

How did you meet Olivia Bransbourg? Torsten Biehl?

I met Olivia at Takasago where we are working together. And Thorsten a while back in Germany Holzminden, we were both working for H&R at the time.

New York seems to be an inevitable part of your creation, What inspired you in this city?

New York is an incredible city I just love it. It has a great energy, the diversity, the city where everything is possible, the weather honestly even if it is really cold the sky is always blue. The no-limit translate the same for me in creation.

What is the best time for you in the process of creating a perfume?

I have to admit I love the brainstorming part when receiving the brief and ideas going around my mind, olfactive visualization and then the rendition that follow which isn’t always perfect… Then come the determination, perseverance to make this work.

The most difficult?
