In 1795, Maison Lautier perfected a cold-pressed oil extraction process to obtain the essential oil from mandarin peel. Without any heat in the metal machine, the peel is pressed by hand, and the essence retains its most perfect aroma. It is this exclusive method of extracting the oil from the rare Madagascar mandarin that, together with the delicate scent of neroli flowers, opens the new Oratorio fragrance. They symbolize the inner radiance of the sun. The radiance of light in well-defined rays in the shady corners of the baroque church, somewhere in the middle of Prague... accompanied by the woody warmth of incense and patchouli.
The first independent Czech perfume house made its debut in Prague in autumn 2018 with the fragrance Ad Libitum. The creation of the brand is strongly influenced by the younger generation's look at the fundamental artistic direction and lifestyle of the Czech Republic in the first half of the 20th century. Functionalism, modernity and the avant-garde are interpreted through contemporary fragrances and means of expression.
