A true holiday icon at Diptyque, the lantern is reinvented this year to celebrate the spirit of the pine, with an exceptional swirling design adorned with a star at the top.
Once the candle is lit, the magic happens: the lantern begins to spin gently, projecting a ballet of dancing lights that will enhance your Christmas evenings.
The box features festive soft felt decor, hand-created by English artist Lucy Sparrow, then carefully photographed and reproduced on the packaging. Each product thus becomes a fragment of this “art object”, an invitation to rediscover our childish soul, celebrating winter wonder.
The lantern is sold without a candle and is compatible with all classic 190g candles from Diptyque. It is the ideal accessory to accompany the limited edition Sapin, Friandise and Étoile candles, creating a magical atmosphere of sparkles and scents.
Diptyque
The brand was founded in 1961 by three singular personalities united by a strong aesthetic alchemy: Christiane Montadre-Gautrot, Yves Coueslant and Desmond Knox-Leet. Fed with a common passion for drawing, they start creating motifs for fabrics and wallpapers, and decide to open their first shop with two entrances (like a diptych) in Paris, Boulevard Saint Germain.
