Cologne Officinale is a tribute to the city of Marseille, inspired by the energy of photographer Olivier Amsellem, founder of the JOGGING concept store emblematic of the Phocaean city's contemporary art de vivre. Perfumer James Heeley composes a light, unisex cologne, with punchy notes of bergamot and basil, fusing with a lavender bouquet enveloped in the oriental warmth of an amber/oak moss accord.
It is in France that James Heeley, a young English designer inspired by nature, discovered the way perfumes are composed. Today, his perfume collection is taking shape following the evolution of his self-taught work, while respecting the traditional art of French perfumery. The know-how of James Heeley is found in the creation of the perfumes and the graphics of the cases.
