The Cire scented candle is an olfactory representation of Maison Cire Trudon. It reveals a subtle blend of perfume scents and hot waxes, with a woody oriental scent that highlights the essence of beeswax, warmed by gourmet notes of honey and vanilla. Bees and beeswax are at the heart of the history of the Cire Trudon factory, which, from the 17th century, adopted the motto "Deo regique laborant", meaning "they (the bees) work for God and the King ". Since 2019, the House has been committed to supporting the Conservatoire de l'Abeille Noire de l'Orne by donating 4% of the sales of each Cire candle.
Founded by Claude Trudon in 1643, the Maison Trudon quickly became the Royal Wax Manufacture. In the court, the light of the Cire Trudon candles danced on the walls of Versailles, lit the French corridors and were appreciated from Louis XIV to Napoleon, in all the major churches of the country. A legacy which is shared and renewed today by the brand with immense pleasure.
