<p>Dating back to the Middle Ages and used in the pagan rites of the winter solstice, the tree symbol of life was decorated for Christmas with fruits, flowers and wheat. It was in the 12th century that the tradition of the tree was born in Europe, placing their tree upside down to represent the Trinity. Thus, this candle evokes the most traditional of Christmas tree notes, fir balsam. This year, Mon Beau Sapin is adorned with a finely lacquered and decorated green candle jar that reflects the playful and creative theme of the holiday season. The woody and spicy scent evokes a winter stroll in the heart of a contrasting landscape, between the deep green of the fir trees covered with a coat of almost sparkling white snow.</p>
