The limited edition Mon Beau Sapin candle reveals the comforting scent of the traditional woody, amber Christmas tree in the heart of a winter garden. Dating back to the Middle Ages and used in pagan winter solstice rites, the tree, symbol of life, was decorated for Christmas with fruit, flowers and wheat. It was in the 12th century that the fir tree tradition was born in Europe, with the tree placed upside down to represent the Trinity. So this candle evokes the most classic and traditional of Christmas notes, fir balsam, while playing on the contrast of colors and fragrances hidden in the heart of a winter garden. The candle is presented in a Limoges porcelain cookie jar. French wax of mineral and vegetable origin is woven into a cotton wick to guarantee the candle's olfactory quality and optimum burn time of around 58 hours.
