This contemporary perfume house, with diverse roots, draws its essence between East and West. Founded in 2013 in London by Saudi entrepreneur Basel Binjabr, Thameen, whose name means “precious”, is distinguished by a unique approach.

Unlike many other Arab perfume brands, Thameen is deeply steeped in European tradition while cultivating an international appeal through olfactory compositions imbued with captivating stories. Defining itself as a modern British brand, it makes a point of honoring the craftsmanship and heritage of perfumery.

This niche positioning is enhanced by Christopher Chong, its artistic director, former creative director of Amouage, an emblematic house of Oman. Drawing on his expertise in luxury perfumery, Chong brings to Thameen a refined sense of olfactory storytelling, where each fragrance becomes a theatrical story in its own right.

After a well-deserved break, he tackles this new adventure with passion, subtly combining his love of the arts and his talent for fragrant stories.
