The evocation of a Greek summer at Mount Pelion where sun-drenched fig trees overhang the roads to the sea. Philosykos represents the fig tree as a whole: the warmth of its bark, the freshness of its leaves and the milky sap of its fruits.

Diptyque

The brand was founded in 1961 by three singular personalities united by a strong aesthetic alchemy: Christiane Montadre-Gautrot, Yves Coueslant and Desmond Knox-Leet. Fed with a common passion for drawing, they start creating motifs for fabrics and wallpapers, and decide to open their first shop with two entrances (like a diptych) in Paris, Boulevard Saint Germain.
