Nose is delighted to present Perseus, the new fragrance from Parfum de Marly. Founded in 2009 by Julien Sprecher, a man with a passion for beauty, refinement and excellence, Perseus pays tribute to the golden age of perfumery. The brand draws its inspiration from the heart of the Palais des Plaisirs, Louis XV's palace for the most extravagant and exclusive parties.

Immerse yourself in the luminous splendor and glow of this fragrance with the invigorating embrace of a sunbeam at sunrise. The invigorating notes of grapefruit and bergamot are beautifully balanced by a heart of vetiver, and the woody base notes subtly evoke memories of a stroll through a French garden, where the first rays of sunlight set the château ablaze, warming its gardens and making its fountains dance. This fragrance, as dazzling as morning light, highlights the invigorating freshness of citrus.

The fragrance is inspired by the invigorating scents discovered by the French royal court in the 18th century. In those days, citrus fruits were grown in the orangeries of the French king's châteaux, specially designed structures known as ""orangeries"" to protect them from the winter cold. These citrus fruits were used to create fragrances that also served as energy boosters. Although fresh, they were short-lived. For Perseus, Julien Sprecher wanted to reinterpret this tradition with an original composition, while preserving Parfums de Marly's characteristic long-lasting performance.
