Cécilia Mergui, a passionate Parisian, began her career in retail strategy consulting before rising through the ranks to become Purchasing Director for renowned brands such as Comptoir des Cotonniers and Sézane. Her career path has enabled her to explore the creative and analytical aspects of retail, offering her a unique perspective. Attracted by Art Deco aesthetics since childhood, she discovered a Bienaimé powder case by chance while browsing the internet, which awakened a fascination for the brand and its history.

Armed with this discovery and her love of vintage, Cécilia began in-depth research into the brand. Strongly inspired by Bienaimé's aesthetic and heritage, she decided to take over the brand after meeting its last owner. Her aim is to rekindle the emotion of wonder and time travel she herself felt when discovering the poudrier, by offering long-lasting, aesthetically pleasing beauty products.
