Diptyque's Do Son collection has the delicacy and persistence of a memory, that of Yves Coueslant, one of the founders of Maison Diptyque. As a child, he spent his summers in Do Son, a coastal town in Vietnam. The sea breeze carried with it the intoxicating, gently spicy fragrance of tuberoses. Harmonie Marine brings a breath of fresh air, highlighting the fragrance of fresh tuberose flowers harvested in India and carried by the sea breeze.

This year, Diptyque is collaborating with Hanoia, a prestigious handicraft brand based in Hanoi, Vietnam. With over three decades of experience, Hanoia excels in the creation of lacquered objects and rattan work. Recognized by the prestigious luxury magazine Robb Report as the best Vietnamese handicraft brand, Hanoia has won several awards for the excellence of its craftsmanship.

For this limited-edition collaboration, the illustration on the Do Son bottle is tinted cinnabar red: the emblematic color of lacquer, while the 300g candle is adorned with a hand-woven cap.
