In Greek mythology, Gaia, goddess of the earth, created the first fig tree by transforming her rebellious son Sykeus into a tree to protect him from Zeus' wrath. Since then, the fig has remained the favorite fruit of the Greek gods. With its woody accents, Athenean is a sublimation of the Fig Tree fragrance created in 2001 by James Heeley. The milky notes of the green fig are balanced here by an aquatic and white tea accord, as well as the warm notes of sandalwood and white musk.
It is in France that James Heeley, a young English designer inspired by nature, discovered the way perfumes are composed. Today, his perfume collection is taking shape following the evolution of his self-taught work, while respecting the traditional art of French perfumery. The know-how of James Heeley is found in the creation of the perfumes and the graphics of the cases.
