Xerjoff wurde 2007 in Turin von Sergio Momo und Dominique Salvo mit dem Ziel ins Leben gerufen, die luxuriösesten Rohstoffe zu kombinieren und dabei die Handwerkskunst der Vergangenheit, die besten Rohstoffe und eine zeitgenössische künstlerische Sensibilität zu kombinieren, die von der Welt der italienischen Renaissance inspiriert ist.
Sergio Momos Interesse an der Welt der Düfte ist kein Zufall und keine plötzliche Leidenschaft, sondern tief in seiner Kindheit verwurzelt. 1964 in Turin geboren, ließ er sich nach seinem Kunststudium mit Schwerpunkt Grafik und Design in London nieder, wo er in mehreren Design- und Werbeagenturen arbeitete.
