Originally from Alsace, Antoine Lie began his career in perfumery in 1988, after a degree in chemistry, by joining the Roure perfumery school. There, he trained under the tutelage of Jean Guichard, today director of the Givaudan School.

In 1993, under the leadership of the famous perfumer Jean Amic, he left for the United States, where he perfected his mastery of formulation methods. Returning to France, he completed his career with two years of experience at IFF, before returning to Givaudan in 2003. Within this house, he signed numerous perfumes until 2011, the year he joined Takasago, attracted by a desire to reconnect with creative aspirations and an uncompromising demand for quality.

In 2018, Antoine Lie decided to take a radical turn in his career by leaving the major perfume houses to become an independent perfumer. This decision marks the beginning of a new era in his professional career, where the quest for innovation and the desire to shake up the codes become his credo.

In recent years, his creations, always unique, have captivated the public: Bruma, Aphéli, Absolu by Trudon, Wondewood by Comme des Garçons, Rien by Etat Libre by Orange...
