In 2024, Julien Prévost, creative director of Trudon, is launching a new challenge: reinterpreting the orange blossom without falling into “childish” or too “suave” clichés. To meet this challenge, he called on Antoine Lie, creator of the emblematic Bruma and Aphélie.
Faithful to the values of authenticity and singularity for which Trudon is renowned, Antoine favors natural ingredients, steeped in history and evoking the grandeur of the monarchical era.
The orange blossom was the favorite flower of the “Sun King” Louis XIV, but for Antoine, the luminosity of the orange blossom had to be made more complex, richer... He therefore worked around a floral composition and spicy, contrasting the sweetness of orange blossom with saffron (spicy) and guaiac wood (smoky woody).
