  Absorbs UVA and UVB, protects from the sun's rays. Offers the most powerful protection against UVB. Also used as a stabilizer or preservative. Limited to 5% in formulas by the EU, it can cause skin allergies and is a suspected endocrine disruptor.

  Absorbs and filters UVA and UVB rays, also acts as a stabilizer in formulas. It is regulated at 10% in the formulas.
• pentylene glycol
