Description
To Vetiver was born from a fascination with a singular material, approached here as a territory of expression rather than a simple note. An ode to vetiver, envisioned as a living, shifting, almost elusive presence.
Geranium opens with a green and luminous tension, immediately setting the composition in motion. It then unfolds into a warmer, more textured materiality: nutmeg brings a spicy dryness, tonka bean softens without smoothing, while woods and moss build an organic, slightly earthy depth.
At the heart of the fragrance, vetiver emerges in successive layers — rooty, smoky, mineral — like a material that breathes and transforms upon contact with the skin.

"We can find beautiful things unconsciously. A fragrance that could not exist in a bottle that should not exist. What qualifies what has the right to exist? Who has the right to decide what is to be rejected? Deliberately taking a vial that has been disqualified from existence and deliberately giving it the right to exist. " - Rei Kawakubo
