Description
In early 1960s Paris, Saint-Germain came alive to the sound of jazz clubs that stayed open until dawn. Just steps from Diptyque’s historic boutique, the Orphéon club drew artists, musicians and night owls into its warm, vibrant atmosphere. Orphéon Eau de Toilette captures the lively spirit of those early evening hours in a legendary place, one that had already inspired the founders of the House to create a deeper, more nocturnal Eau de Parfum.
The fragrance opens with a bright, refreshing burst of Japanese yuzu, green mandarin and juniper, recalling a sparkling cocktail and the first moments of a night out. At its heart, jasmine and magnolia unfold with soft elegance, like a glow at the heart of the Left Bank. Cedarwood and musk bring depth and structure to the dry-down, extending the trail as the evening fades into night.
