A word from the perfumer
Bertrand Duchaufour
Bertrand Duchaufour began his career in 1985 at Lautier Florasynth in Grasse before joining a prestigious team alongside Jean-Louis Sieuzac, Michel Almairac, and Dominique Ropion. Known as the Master of Incense, he made his mark with Avignon for Comme des Garçons. In 2008, he became the in-house perfumer for L’Artisan Parfumeur, then went independent in 2009. He joined Technicoflor in 2014 before launching his own brand, L’Entropiste, in 2025.

Guided by his philosophy of entropy, he sees fragrance as a dynamic interplay of order and chaos, where raw materials evolve and transform.
