A blend of freshness and sensuality, Layton is an aromatic woody fern dedicated to the new dandies: free spirits who live intensely, passionate about luxury and pleasure. With this creation, the perfumer has imagined the cascades of aromatic fragrances gushing from the royal fountains of the Chateau of Marly.
This scent has become one of the House's iconic perfumes, with notes of lavender and apple in the head, mixed with geranium in the heart.
A unique combination of patchouli, coumarin and ambermax settle in the base and amplify the intensity of this iconic signature.
Fascinated by the beauty, refinement and excellence of the 18th century, the company's founder, Julien Sprecher, decided to found Parfums de Marly in 2009. A true tribute to the Chateau of Louis XV, a palace of pleasures, where the most extravagant and exclusive parties took place. The king's court was so obsessed with perfume that it was nicknamed the ‘court of perfumes’: pouches, fans, gloves and even fountains were bathed in fragrance. The House aims to revive the splendours of a golden age of perfumery.
