Created in collaboration with Meg Webster, the Dia Art Foundation and Comme des Garçons Parfums, DIA is part of a dialogue between contemporary art, material and perception. The fragrance opens with the aromatic freshness of the bay and the spicy vivacity of the black pepper, introducing a tension between natural and structure. In the background, cedar, incense, myrrh and patchouli unfold a woody and resinous depth, evoking raw materiality, the memory of the earth and an almost spiritual dimension. The whole composition is a woody, smoky and contemporary signature, faithful to the sculptural aesthetic and ecological concerns that underpin the project. This limited edition extends the practice of the American artist whose work explores ecological systems, geometric shapes and the complex relationship between man and nature. Through installations composed of earth, salt, sand or living plants, Meg Webster questions the paradox between admiration and control of nature, a reflection that resonates deeply in this olfactory creation. The tetrahedral silver box refers to a central shape in the work of Meg Webster, symbol of purity and ephemerality.
