Inspired by a painting by Pierre Soulages, where black becomes light, Vanilla Caviar explores the hidden brilliance at the heart of shadow; vanilla reveals all its facets: creamy, sensual, almost animalistic; its pods, long and lustrous, house thousands of black grains, shining like rare pearls; it is from this raw and precious material, akin to a vegetal caviar, that a fragrance both profound and luminous is born, a monochrome where every nuance is sculpted by light; from the opening, calamus unfolds its spicy and vegetal nuances, like a fresh leaf caressed by light; at the heart, osmanthus reveals its honeyed and apricot accents, bringing a sensual sweetness that embraces the vanilla; in the base, the amber warmth of Peru balsam and the resinous depth of cistus labdanum are enriched with a breath of rum, before blending into a black, dense, and textured vanilla, where each grain seems to hold a glimmer, the ultimate reminiscence of the monochrome of light.
