Description

Composed by Quentin Bisch, Tilia is a floriental built around a specific tension: white flowers that feel sunny rather than opulent. Orange blossom and heliotrope form the centre — the heliotrope's powdery, almond-like quality tones down the bolder indolic facets of the orange blossom, keeping the composition open and clean rather than dense. Jasmine adds volume without pushing the floral heart into full white-flower territory. Ambrox then does the structural work: it diffuses the composition outward and prevents the musks from collapsing the whole thing into softness. The result is a white floral that wears like a clean second skin. The formula works because it avoids both heavy white florals and simple freshness. Its floral heart feels sunny and tactile, while the woody musks stretch it into something more abstract and contemporary. Recommended for those who enjoy white floral fragrances but prefer them smooth, musky and luminous rather than opulent. Inspired by Marc-Antoine Barrois’s family holidays in the Alpilles, Tilia evokes the natural poetry of Marcel Pagnol and the suspended sensuality of Call Me By Your Name: white flowers, warm light and simple summer moments.

Product frequently asked questions (FAQ)

Tilia opens with orange blossom, joined by heliotrope and jasmine. Ambroxan and musks extend the composition into a radiant, airy drydown with a delicate woody finish.

Yes, but it avoids the heavy creaminess often associated with white flowers. Heliotrope and musks make the floral structure smoother and more transparent.

Heliotrope rounds the orange blossom with powdery almond facets, while Ambrox and musks diffuse the floral heart without making it dense.

Anything created by Quentin Bisch is a goal for me. He is easily my favorite perfumer. At this point, if he created bottled water, I'd probably buy it. ???? I absolutely love Tilia. It smells bright, natural, and effortlessly elegant. The opening is fresh and airy, then the beautiful linden blossom comes through with a soft honeyed sweetness. I also get creamy white florals and a touch of green freshness that makes it feel like walking under blooming trees on a warm summer day. The scent is smooth, uplifting, and comforting without ever becoming too sweet or heavy. What I enjoy most is how realistic and refined it smells. It has a radiant floral glow that feels luxurious yet easy to wear. Another masterpiece from Quentin Bisch, and a fragrance I'll be reaching for often. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys airy, luminous florals with a natural honeyed touch. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
