Byredo joins the olfactory universe of Nose. Founded in Stockholm in 2006, the brand takes its name from the expression “By Redolence,” which literally means “by scent.”
Its founder, Ben Gorham, cultivates an outsider stance in the world of perfumery, far from the traditional codes of the profession. A former basketball player and student of applied arts, he stands out for his unusual career path. Byredo rejects rigid frameworks: free, abstract, or narrative compositions, written like a sensation to be shared. Incense, heated leather, black coffee, salty wind: the materials become sensory landmarks, fragments of a memory in motion.
