"A red dragonfly
Under the burning sky
The sound of a ricochet"
Sound of a ricochet is an olfactory poem from the collection celebrating the Kodo ceremony. It is one of the three Japanese arts of appreciating fragrances where, during a ceremony, one listens to the fragrances that are revealed through burnt woods in order to discover their history and fully appreciate their components. This fragrance captures an afternoon by a lake with a ripple effect. You can see red dragonflies flying in the burning sky. The woody notes of cedar, sandalwood and patchouli are enveloped by the gourmand tonalities of caramel, tonka bean and vanilla. Finally, notes of amber and labdanum rockrose bring both warmth and power. The result is a woody fragrance with gourmand and amber tonalities that unveils a powerful, feminine trail.

Floraïku is inspired by Japanese sophistication and follows a poetic approach, close to nature. This French house of perfume is a journey into the heart of the Japanese imaginary, namely into the haikus, short poems which attempt to translate the simplest, yet elusive life experiences. Floraïku creations are like this: short, sensual and overwhelming. Each fragrance is built around an accord inspired by a Japanese ceremony.
