Inspired by Silphium, a botanical treasure of Antiquity now lost, this fragrance revives the scent of a plant the world has forever lost; once more precious than gold, coveted by Roman emperors and Greek philosophers, it grew only on a narrow coastal strip of North Africa, and its relentless harvesting led to its extinction, taking with it its suave aroma and legendary virtues; this creation restores its forgotten brilliance, like an echo from the depths of centuries; a spicy spark of clove opens the composition with intensity, like a burst from elsewhere; at its heart, the aromatic freshness of geranium blends with the carnal richness of rose, forming a vibrant and timeless bouquet; gradually, the base unfolds: dry cedar, leathery depth, and the sacred breath of incense establish a dark and captivating aura, at the boundary of mystery and sensuality.
