Description
Sacred Tobacco was born from an ancestral ritual, when sacred tobacco was burned to purify the spirit and soothe the soul. Used for centuries by the indigenous peoples of the Americas, sacred tobacco (Mapacho or Nicotiana rustica) is a medicinal and ritual plant, imbued with spiritual and protective powers.
Perfumer Michele Marin drew inspiration from these ceremonies to compose a meditative fragrance. Sealed with a signature black Carrara marble cap engraved with the House monogram, the bottle contains a dense, textured juice, crafted like an olfactory talisman.
The powerful formula reveals a woody-spicy architecture with decidedly animal accents. Blond tobacco blends with the vibrant warmth of cinnamon, the marked animality of castoreum, and the woody richness of patchouli. Smoky woods such as birch and Indian sandalwood provide a sacred, almost mystical foundation.
