Monocle Scent 5: Syros is inspired by the arid and luminous landscapes of the Mediterranean basin. Between the scorching sun, wild vegetation, and sun-bleached stones, this fragrance evokes the sensation of a suspended summer on a Greek island, where the salty wind and dry herbs create an atmosphere that is both raw and soothing. The opening reveals a dry licorice with woody and slightly aniseed accents. Then the composition gains depth: smoky cypriol, sun-warmed immortelle, Indonesian patchouli, and vetiver outline an earthy and aromatic trail. In the base, a soft and diffused white musk evokes the freshness of shade in the late afternoon.
