Following an inspiring conversation with Dominique Ropion, Frédéric Malle decided to launch a collection dedicated to Middle Eastern perfumery: Desert Gems. Among this collection, Hope, signed Dominique Ropion, stands out with a unique interpretation of the emblematic ingredients: oud and rose.
From the first scent, a mixture of pink berries awakens the senses. The heart of the fragrance reveals a bewitching Bulgarian rose, while the base unfolds with notes of oud, ambermax and incense, bringing a touch that is both smoky and earthy.
In the grand scheme of destiny, Hope offers a glimmer of unwavering hope. Do you believe in these wonderful surprises that seem to be specially intended for everyone?
Coming from a famous family of artists, Frédéric Malle represents the third generation of perfume specialists. His grandfather, Serge Heftler-Louiche, was the founder of Parfums Christian Dior before handing over the position to his daughter, the mother of Frédéric Malle, who took the artistic direction. In order to relaunch the art of high perfumery, Frédéric Malle founded his brand in 2000 and offers carte blanche to the greatest perfumers of our time, that he had met during his 25 years of experience. Dominique Ropion, Jean-Claude Ellena and Olivia Giacobetti are some of the perfumeurs that have signed his olfactory creations.
