Description
Nicolas Beaulieu was inspired by the smooth and polished appearance of driftwood, worked by sea spray and time, to compose a fragrance with contrasting textures, between aquatic fluidity and woody roughness.
The opening of Bois Flotté surprises with the unexpected freshness of cucumber, a watery and airy note that evokes the movement of water. The heart, dominated by violet leaf, brings a green and slightly powdery dimension, while the woody base is rooted in a powerful accord of patchouli and sandalwood, enhanced by the mineral depth of geosmin.
This perfume is an ode to the elements, to the sea which sculpts the wood, to the wind which caresses the skin. It captures the serenity of a walk on a wild beach, between plant-based softness and woody intensity.
