Fugazzi - Pomegranoudh

Fugazzi plays with contrasts. With Pomegranoudh, the house explores another facet of fruity woody — not the one where fruit softens the composition, but the one where it electrifies it.

The pomegranate: a fruit unlike the others

Where peach or raspberry bring roundness, pomegranate introduces an acidic tension, almost raw. It is a fruit of sharp clarity, that cuts. Paired with red fruits in the top and heart, it sets the register from the start: luminous, precise, slightly taut — the opposite of the sweetness usually expected from a fruity woody.

Oud, amber, vanilla, Akigalawood: a base in contrast

The base of Pomegranoudh is deep and structured. Oud brings its characteristic resinous density. Amber and vanilla envelop without weighing down — their warmth stays measured. Akigalawood extends the composition into a spiced woody register, slightly smoky, anchoring the fragrance without closing it.

This base does not let itself be overtaken by the fruit. Pomegranate and red fruits coexist with oud and Akigalawood without ever merging — it is precisely this mutual resistance that makes the construction interesting.
