Description

Downland is inspired by the muted landscapes of William Nicholson, painted from the rolling heights of Sussex. This fragrance captures the softness of his gaze on the curves of the land, the changing lights of the seaside, and those calm shades where a simple breath of green is enough to transform the depth of a horizon. The fragrance opens with the resinous clarity of elemi, then slowly unfolds into a textured and organic base. The notes of incense, hay, tea, vetiver, and geosmin form a peaceful trail, like a solitary walk in the heath at dawn.
