Alex Postiglione frames his work in direct relation to the living world. For several years, he has supported humanitarian and environmental projects in Myanmar, committed to preserving biodiversity and supporting local communities.
This care is at the heart of creation. Extra Virgo perfumes are produced in small batches, using high-quality natural raw materials (70 to 80 %), carefully selected and treated with respect for their texture and evolution. The juice ages for three months, blended with natural alcohol, before being allowed to mature further prior to bottling.
The compositions are built around recognizable plant materials. The notes retain their roughness, their nuance, and their element of unpredictability. Extra Virgo thus develops attentive perfumery, where ethics is not proclaimed but observed.
