Diptyque
La marca fue fundada en 1961 por tres personalidades singulares unidas por una fuerte alquimia estética: Christiane Montadre-Gautrot, Yves Coueslant y Desmond Knox-Leet. Alimentados por una pasión común por el dibujo, comienzan a crear motivos para telas y papeles pintados, y deciden abrir su primera tienda con dos entradas (como un díptico) en París, Boulevard Saint Germain.
