• butylene glycol
  Although considered the least irritating of the glycols, it can be irritating to individuals with very sensitive skin. However, it improves hydration by attracting water molecules from the environment to the epidermis to moisturise the skin's surface.

  Strengthens the lipid barrier of the skin, and has anti-inflammatory, healing and moisturizing effects.

  Natural fat alcohol that increases the viscosity and stability of emulsions.
• squalane
  Retains moisture and reduces water loss of the skin. Squalane can convert free radicals into molecular oxygen and thus protects the skin.
• sorbitol
  Smoothes and nourishes the skin and retains moisture.
• hydrogenated polyisobutene
  Softens and smoothes the skin.
• niacinamide (vitamin b3)
  Also know as vitamin B3. Repairs damaged skin, improves circulation and smooths the skin.
• tocopherol
  Acts as an antioxidant, is effective against premature wrinkles, soothes the skin and protects it from drying out. Vitamin E also neutralizes free radicals.
• sodium hyaluronate
  Salt of hyaluronic acid, helps to reduce the visibility of fine lines and wrinkles locking moisture into the skin, bringing a plumping effect.
• beta-glucan
  Retains water on the skin's surface to deeply moisturize and repair the skin barrier. Reduces wrinkles and damages caused by UV rays.
• oridonin
  Isolated compound from a Chinese medicinal plant (Isodon rubescens) with anti-oxidant properties. Reduces the appearance of fine lines, targets sagging skin, revives the radiance of the complexion.
• phenoxyethanol
  May cause skin allergies and neurological disorders. Preservative used to guarantee the microbiological resistance of the product as well as the stability and therefore the high performance of the formula. Authorised up to 1% by European regulations, and less harmful in rinsed skincare.
• sorbitan oleate
  Emulsifier on the basis of hydrated olive oil.
• carbomer
  Synthetic polymers used to thicken preparations and improve their texture. Carbomer molecules do not penetrate the skin barrier and are therefore not harmful to health.
• xanthan gum
  Gelling and thickening agent used to modify the texture of cosmetics. It also increases the stability of emulsions.

  Lipid component of the barley spent grain that has an anti-itching, soothing and moisturizing effect.
• barley sh- oligopeptide-1
  Growth factor of human skin. It signals cells to regenerate and stimulates the production of collagen and elastin to maintain healthy, dense, youthful skin.
