Ulrich Lang continues his quest of understanding the image by the olfactive and joins his forces to Aperture, Art foundation created in 1952 that supports young and already-established photographers. Their collaboration permit the Aperture scent creations, a contemporary fragrance, like a joint tribute to perfume and photograph. Olivia Bee, 19 years old photographer artist, with keen eye and undeniable talent reveals herself a natural choice for the perfume packaging. Her creative universe and photographs series “Quiet” capture the warmth of this scent. On the packaging, a picture of Olivia depicts a young man silhouette facing a lavender sky contrasting with some reddish orange shades. This image perfectly embodies the atmosphere imagined by Ulrich Lang for his scent: a mix of complex introspection, the calm before the storm, for a vertiginous scent. Aperture reveals its strong temperament from the first notes, blend of pink pepper, black and white peppers in a background as light as aldehyde. The heart blossoms and leaves on skin jasmine, cedar, lily of the valley and tobacco exhalations. The base is musky and blend grey amber and vetiver. A great olfactive capture of the moment.
