Bougie Atelier de Balthus
Bougie Atelier de Balthus
description

A candle reminiscent of a painter's workshop, where pallets, cans of paint, canvases and rags still impregnated with linseed oil give this air a perfume of turpentine associated with delicious honey aromas with tobacco and cedar wood. Astier de Villatte

Ivan Pericoli & Benoît Astier de Villatte meet in the 90s in a café in Saint-Germain. After studying Fine Arts in Paris, they work together in the workshop of Georges Jeanclos and learn the art of scupture. After one of their objects was published in the press, they decided to participate to the Maison & Objet show in 1996 and create their own brand. Astier de Villatte, founded in 1996, is a chic and sober ceramic manufacturer in Paris, drawing inspiration from all over the world.
