description
Inspired by the Mathieu Kassovitz thriller from which it takes its name, La Haine captures the brutal and bloody atmosphere of police violence in the Parisian suburbs in the 1990s. To illustrate the film's violence, famous perfumer Mark Buxton uses metallic notes, accompanied by the inimitable peppery note of aldehyde and bucchu at the top. The birch heart plunges us into the film's urban environment, until we feel the smell of hot tar. The sensation of arid dryness is reflected by the presence of cedar and moss in the background. The fragrance slowly unveils itself, giving way to increasingly strong leathery notes. The result is a sharp, lively scent, but whose softness reveals itself as the fragrance evolves.
