When you smell a fragrance that was created 100 years ago, it is often difficult to tell whether it is masculine or feminine. Francis Kurkdjian took this observation as a starting point for the Gentle Fluidity duo: to create a story based on gender fluidity, connected to current events. Indeed, this idea was born in the perfumer's mind at the very moment when the notion of gender fluidity came to us from the United States.

During his childhood, this notion was non-existent: "It was girls in pink, and boys in blue. The first had cars, the second had dolls. It was very binary". With this duo, he wanted to highlight not gender but the individual in his or her own right, without having to define himself or herself as a man or woman, he or she.

In perfume, it's all a question of balance: you can be one and/or the other, or even be different and still be yourself. With Gentle Fluidity, Francis Kurkdjian has created two fragrances that are olfactory differences, yet have the same list of ingredients. A gentle fluidity that speaks for itself while leaving room for mystery.
