The Promeneuse, a new object to perfume your home, imagined by Cire Trudon and designed by Pauline Deltour.

The Promeneuse revisits Cire Trudon's most emblematic materials: ribbed artisanal glass and old gold colored brass. It's ideal to easily change fragrances within the house.

Pauline Deltour was born in 1983 in Landerneau, France. She graduated from Olivier de Serres design school (ENSAAMA) and later obtained a degree in object design from the Paris School of Decorative Arts. After graduating in 2007, she worked four years with Konstantin Grcic in Munich Germany, before starting her own studio in Paris. With her multiple projects, she revisits tableware, furniture and also jewelry and interior design.

How to use the Promeneuse:

Handcrafted in Portugal, the structure of brass and the ceramic base facilitate the handling of the Promeneuse. The ribbed glass, that decorates the flame, is dyed in the mass and handmade in Italy. Furthermore a ceramic cup, handmade in Portugal, is placed within the cradle of brass where the scented cameos are placed for burning.

Place the scented cameo on the brass spoon in the ceramic cup and light the candle underneath. The cameo will become liquid in ten minutes and will start to spread its fragrance. Vapor fumes may occur when the wax becomes liquid. This is normal and part of the diffusing of the fragrance.

Four scented cameos are included within the box: Abd El Kader, Ernesto, Odalisque and Solis Rex.

The glass night light is consumed in eight hours to melt each scented cameo. The night light is made within the workshop of Cire Trudon in France (four night lights are included within the box). The scented cameos and night lights can also be purchased separately in boxes of four each.

To remove the wax from the ceramic cup after burning ensure that the cup has cooled down for at least four hours. Carefully lift the spoon by the end of the handle to disassociate the wax attached to the spoon.
